Responsibilities
- Plan, design, and implement network architectures and infrastructure solutions to support agency operations.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a wide range of network hardware, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Monitor network performance and security to ensure compliance with federal regulations and agency policies.
- Provide technical support and guidance to internal users regarding network connectivity and system access.
- Conduct regular audits and vulnerability assessments to mitigate cyber threats and ensure data integrity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to upgrade legacy systems and integrate new technologies.
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
- Experience with network infrastructure technologies such as Cisco IOS, Juniper, or Microsoft Server technologies.
- Active Top Secret security clearance (or the ability to obtain one).
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
