Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain server infrastructure, including Windows and Linux environments.
- Implement and monitor cybersecurity protocols to protect sensitive government data.
- Configure and troubleshoot network hardware and software applications.
- Collaborate with developers to support enterprise software deployments and upgrades.
- Provide technical support and training to agency staff on new technologies.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance optimization.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in systems administration or IT support.
- Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Network+, or AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner are highly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Must be eligible for State employment and pass a background check.
