Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain complex IT systems, applications, and networks to support state operations.
- Perform system analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution of hardware and software issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local information security policies and data privacy regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify technical requirements and implement scalable solutions.
- Conduct regular system audits and performance tuning to optimize efficiency and user experience.
- Provide advanced technical support and training to internal staff and government stakeholders.
- Document technical processes, system configurations, and architectural changes for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in IT systems analysis, network administration, or software development.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of database management systems (SQL, Oracle) and scripting languages (Python, Java, or PowerShell).
- Proven ability to obtain and maintain necessary government security clearances.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong communication skills, capable of translating technical jargon for non-technical audiences.
