Responsibilities
- Execute routine system maintenance, patching, and security updates during weekend shifts.
- Monitor server health and network infrastructure to ensure 99.9% uptime for public services.
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for county staff and resolve escalated IT tickets.
- Conduct data backups and verify disaster recovery procedures.
- Collaborate with the week-day IT team to coordinate infrastructure changes and updates.
- Ensure strict compliance with state cybersecurity policies and data protection regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Bachelor's preferred).
- CompTIA A+ and Security+ certifications are highly desirable.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and TCP/IP networking.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation.
