Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support to state employees via phone, email, and ticketing systems.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network connectivity issues in a timely manner.
- Assist with the deployment and configuration of new workstations, peripherals, and mobile devices.
- Conduct regular system maintenance and security updates to protect sensitive government data.
- Collaborate with the IT infrastructure team to optimize system performance and user experience.
- Document all technical procedures, tickets, and resolutions in the CMDB.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Associate degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
- Proven experience in IT support, helpdesk, or a similar technical role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Windows operating systems.
- Familiarity with networking concepts, Active Directory, and basic troubleshooting protocols.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical users.
- Ability to pass a background check and meet federal security requirements.
