Responsibilities
- Analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications for Federal and State systems.
- Design, develop, and implement software solutions that meet compliance standards (FISMA, NIST).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including stakeholders, project managers, and developers to ensure project milestones are met.
- Maintain and optimize existing databases and applications to ensure high availability and performance.
- Conduct system testing, code reviews, and quality assurance to identify and resolve bugs.
- Provide technical support and training to end-users regarding government software tools and procedures.
- Ensure all IT operations adhere to local, state, and federal regulations and security protocols.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in Systems Analysis, preferably within the Government or Defense sector.
- Experience with SQL, Python, Java, or C#.
- Active Secret Security Clearance or the ability to obtain one is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex technical data to non-technical audiences.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
