Key Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive system analysis, design, and documentation of complex IT infrastructure projects.
- Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis for server, network, and application issues to ensure 99.9% uptime.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system requirements and translate business needs into technical specifications.
- Ensure all software deployments adhere to strict state and federal security compliance protocols.
- Maintain and upgrade legacy systems while integrating modern cloud solutions.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior IT staff and contractors.
- Generate detailed reports on system performance and recommend optimization strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT Systems Analysis or a related technical role within a government or large enterprise environment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, Windows Server administration, and virtualization technologies (VMware/Hyper-V).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certification such as CompTIA Security+, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or similar is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours during critical system maintenance windows.
