Responsibilities
- Analyze complex system requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions and system architectures.
- Perform system administration tasks including installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of servers and networks.
- Develop and maintain detailed technical documentation, including system diagrams and operational procedures.
- Monitor system performance and security to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations (FISMA/NIST).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and implement software upgrades.
- Provide Level 3 technical support and mentor junior IT staff members.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in systems analysis, network administration, or software development.
- Strong proficiency in Windows Server, Linux, SQL, and virtualization technologies.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven government environment.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
