- Champion innovation across 12 R&D divisions
- Present future scenarios to global stakeholders
- Build the world's premier futurist incubator program
Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon-scanning research across AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech
- Develop and maintain 2026+ strategic innovation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate foresight into product development
- Present future scenarios to executive teams and board members
- Build and manage the Horizon Futures incubator program
- Author annual 'State of 2026' industry foresight reports
- Partner with venture capital teams to identify emerging opportunities
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field
- 8+ years in innovation strategy, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven track record developing 5+ year strategic roadmaps
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and scenario-planning abilities
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and boards
- Published author in foresight or innovation publications
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
