Responsibilities
- Architect and design scalable quantum circuits and algorithms tailored for NISQ (Noisy Intermediate-Scale Quantum) devices.
- Lead a multidisciplinary team of quantum physicists and software engineers in developing error mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence times and gate fidelity.
- Develop high-level programming languages (like Q# or custom DSLs) to simplify quantum workflow development.
- Conduct rigorous testing and validation of quantum software stacks on various quantum processors.
- Publish research findings in top-tier scientific journals and conferences.
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related field (or equivalent industry experience).
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics, linear algebra, and probability theory.
- Extensive experience with quantum programming frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Amazon Braket.
- Strong proficiency in Python, C++, and CUDA for classical simulation and control software.
- Experience in algorithm development for quantum computers, including variational quantum eigensolvers.
- Excellent leadership skills with a track record of mentoring technical teams.
