Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail accurately according to delivery routes and postal regulations
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
- Provide excellent customer service during mail interactions and at postal facilities
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities promptly
- Load/unload mail containers with proper lifting techniques
- Follow all USPS safety protocols and security procedures
- Assist with special delivery services during peak seasons
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- US citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for postal systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work independently in all weather conditions
