Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming/outgoing mail efficiently according to USPS protocols
- Operate mail processing machinery and maintain equipment cleanliness
- Load/unload postal vehicles with proper weight distribution techniques
- Deliver mail and packages to residential/business addresses safely and on schedule
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection points
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report service issues promptly
- Adhere to all safety regulations and USPS operating procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for digital tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
