Responsibilities
- Sort, process, and deliver mail/packages according to USPS standards and routes
- Operate mail vehicles safely and maintain accurate delivery records
- Provide courteous customer service at retail counters and via phone inquiries
- Collect and process postage payments and maintain accountability for funds
- Perform daily equipment maintenance and safety inspections
- Adhere to all USPS policies, security protocols, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid North Carolina driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
