Responsibilities
- Sort and distribute mail and packages efficiently and accurately
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Collect outgoing mail from mailboxes and post offices
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with the public
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles in a safe and responsible manner
- Report any unusual circumstances or issues to supervisors
- Adhere to USPS policies and procedures at all times
Qualifications
- Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Physical ability to walk long distances and lift heavy objects (up to 70 lbs)
- Strong customer service skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
