Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses across Long Beach
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to postal regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer interaction logs
- Manage inventory of postal materials and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adapt to route changes and weather conditions while maintaining on-time performance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs repeatedly and walk extended distances
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Ability to work independently in outdoor environments
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status required
