Responsibilities
- Sort, organize, and deliver mail/packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Maintain accurate delivery records using handheld scanning devices
- Safely operate USPS vehicles in all weather conditions
- Process customer transactions at retail counters and parcel windows
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling hazardous materials
- Collaborate with sorting center staff to ensure timely dispatch
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Nebraska driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 70 lbs repeatedly and walk 8+ hours daily
- U.S. citizenship or permanent residency status
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
