Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and parcels to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Sort, organize, and prepare daily mail according to USPS standards and delivery sequences
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and safety protocols
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments when required
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities or customer concerns
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues promptly
- Adhere to all USPS security procedures and protect customer privacy
Qualifications
- Valid Texas driver's license with a clean driving record
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong time management skills and ability to work independently
- Basic computer literacy for USPS systems and route navigation
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and adapt to changing schedules
- U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status
- Pass background check and drug screening
