Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Operate mail vehicles safely and efficiently while adhering to delivery routes
- Collect outgoing mail from designated collection boxes and customer locations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical issues
- Ensure compliance with USPS regulations and security protocols
- Provide courteous service and resolve customer inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs regularly and walk 5-8 miles daily
- Strong time management and route navigation skills
- Basic computer literacy for tracking systems
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Pass background check and drug screening
