Responsibilities
- Sort, prepare, and deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses along designated routes
- Operate delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws
- Collect outgoing mail and process postage payments from customers
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any discrepancies or issues
- Provide exceptional customer service when assisting customers with mail inquiries
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance checks and report mechanical problems
- Work in various weather conditions to ensure timely delivery
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds repeatedly and stand/walk for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to navigate efficiently using maps and GPS technology
- Basic computer literacy for processing mail and accessing digital systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- US citizenship or permanent residency status
