Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver mail and packages to residential and commercial addresses
- Sort and organize incoming/outgoing mail according to postal regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery records and report any irregularities
- Operate delivery vehicles responsibly and adhere to traffic laws
- Provide exceptional customer service during interactions
- Assist with mail processing duties at distribution centers
- Follow all safety protocols for handling packages and hazardous materials
- Participate in regular route planning and optimization meetings
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs repeatedly
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
- Reliable transportation to depot locations
- Pass background check and drug screening
