Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently to ensure timely delivery.
- Deliver mail to residential and business addresses along an assigned route.
- Obtain signatures and proof of delivery for certified and registered mail.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve inquiries and address concerns.
- Maintain the safety and security of mail and postal equipment during transit.
- Perform physical tasks including lifting heavy parcels and walking long distances in various weather conditions.
- Update delivery records and address files as necessary.
Qualifications
- United States Citizenship.
- A valid Driver’s License (a valid state driver’s license is required for all positions).
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Residency in the local area is preferred.
