Responsibilities
- Sort and process incoming and outgoing mail efficiently and accurately.
- Deliver mail and packages to residential and business customers along an assigned route in a safe and timely manner.
- Handle packages with care, ensuring proper handling and delivery verification.
- Maintain accurate records of mail delivery and handle any exceptions or returns promptly.
- Interact professionally and courteously with the public, answering inquiries and resolving issues.
- Adhere to all safety regulations, postal policies, and traffic laws while operating vehicles.
- Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy packages, walking long distances, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- US Citizenship or Permanent Resident status (required for this position).
- Ability to lift packages weighing up to 70 lbs and perform physical labor.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to read maps and directions.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- Excellent customer service skills and attention to detail.
