Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of municipal infrastructure including roads, bridges, and public facilities
- Operate specialized equipment for snow removal, landscaping, and waste management
- Respond to citizen service requests within 24-hour SLA
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Document maintenance activities and prepare compliance reports
- Participate in emergency response operations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; vocational certification preferred
- Valid Maryland Class C driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years experience in municipal services or construction
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Basic proficiency with GIS mapping and work order systems
- Successful completion of background check and drug screening
