As a key member of our Operations Department, you'll work on critical infrastructure projects including road maintenance, water distribution systems, and public facility operations. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance of municipal infrastructure (roads, sewers, traffic signals)
- Operate heavy equipment including graders, excavators, and asphalt pavers
- Document maintenance activities using digital field reporting systems
- Collaborate with engineering teams on infrastructure improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA safety regulations and city protocols
- Respond to emergency infrastructure repairs during off-hours
- Train junior technicians on equipment operation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with 3+ years infrastructure maintenance experience
- CDL Class B license with airbrake endorsement
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification
- Proficiency with GIS mapping and digital reporting tools
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Valid Ohio Water Distribution Operator certification preferred
- Experience with traffic control setup and work zone safety
