Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, parks, and public infrastructure
- Operate heavy machinery including mowers, tractors, and power tools safely
- Conduct inspections and report maintenance needs to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on infrastructure projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Assist in emergency response situations during severe weather events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of maintenance or construction experience preferred
- Valid Texas Class C driver's license with clean record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, or HVAC systems
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
