Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on city buildings, parks, and utility systems
- Operate heavy machinery including dump trucks, snowplows, and landscaping equipment
- Implement safety protocols and emergency response procedures for weather events
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to complete infrastructure projects on schedule
- Document maintenance activities using digital systems and maintain accurate records
- Respond to citizen inquiries regarding public facilities and services
- Conduct preventative maintenance to extend asset lifespan and reduce costs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Colorado Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in municipal maintenance or construction
- Certification in equipment operation (e.g., OSHA 10/30, CPR)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficiency with basic hand tools and diagnostic equipment
