Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of government facilities including offices, restrooms, and common areas
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as light bulb replacement, minor repairs, and equipment checks
- Operate industrial cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Monitor security systems and report any suspicious activity or hazards
- Manage waste disposal and recycling programs
- Assist with event setup and breakdown for weekend public activities
- Complete detailed maintenance logs and incident reports
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 1 year commercial custodial or facility maintenance experience
- Valid New Mexico driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Must be available to work Saturdays and Sundays (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM)
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
