Responsibilities
- Perform manual labor tasks including digging, lifting, and material handling
- Operate hand tools and light equipment (training provided)
- Assist in construction, repair, and maintenance of public infrastructure
- Maintain safe work areas and follow OSHA safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
- Report maintenance issues and hazards to supervisors
Qualifications
- No prior experience required – we train on the job!
- Ability to perform physically demanding work in various weather conditions
- Valid Nebraska driver's license or ability to obtain within 30 days
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required
- Willingness to work flexible hours including occasional weekends
- Ability to pass pre-employment physical and drug screen
- Basic understanding of construction safety principles
