Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on public facilities including parks, sidewalks, and municipal buildings
- Operate heavy machinery including street sweepers, snow removal equipment, and landscaping tools
- Respond to emergency service requests during inclement weather and public events
- Conduct safety inspections and report infrastructure concerns to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on urban beautification projects
- Maintain accurate records of work completed and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on maintenance or construction experience
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor environments year-round
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Must pass background check and drug screening
