Responsibilities
- Organize and facilitate community outreach events across Mesa's diverse neighborhoods
- Develop multilingual educational materials on city programs and services
- Collect and analyze resident feedback through surveys and public forums
- Coordinate with city departments to address community needs efficiently
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities and engagement metrics
- Represent the city at community events and stakeholder meetings
- Assist in grant reporting and program evaluation documentation
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, or related field
- Minimum 2 years experience in community outreach or public service
- Proficiency in Spanish or other Mesa-dominant language preferred
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean driving record
- Exceptional communication and conflict resolution skills
- Experience with data collection and reporting tools
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Familiarity with Mesa's demographic landscape strongly preferred
