Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city facilities, parks, and public spaces
- Operate light machinery (mowers, trimmers, snow removal equipment) safely
- Conduct minor repairs on structures, signage, and irrigation systems
- Assist in emergency response during severe weather events
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for coordinated projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Document work activities and inventory usage
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona driver's license with clean record
- 1+ years of maintenance or landscaping experience preferred
- Certification in equipment operation (e.g., forklift, backhoe) a plus
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
