Responsibilities
- Perform street maintenance, including pothole repairs and signage installation
- Operate heavy machinery (backhoes, dump trucks) for infrastructure projects
- Manage park upkeep, landscaping, and recreational facility maintenance
- Execute snow removal and emergency response during severe weather
- Conduct utility line location and excavation support
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams for project coordination
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL) preferred
- 1+ years of experience in public works, construction, or groundskeeping
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in extreme weather conditions
- Proficient in basic hand/power tools and light equipment operation
