Responsibilities
- Inspect, maintain, and repair municipal infrastructure, including roads, sidewalks, and drainage systems.
- Operate heavy machinery and hand tools safely and efficiently to complete assigned tasks.
- Respond to emergency service requests and public complaints promptly and professionally.
- Maintain public parks, green spaces, and landscaping equipment in optimal condition.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations, OSHA guidelines, and city ordinances.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on large-scale infrastructure projects.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Valid Class C Kansas Driver's License with a good driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting 50+ lbs and working in various weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems, construction tools, and traffic control.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
