Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repair of public infrastructure, including streets, sidewalks, and park facilities.
- Inspect city equipment and vehicles for safety and operational readiness.
- Respond to and resolve citizen inquiries and service requests regarding municipal services.
- Assist in snow and ice removal operations during inclement weather.
- Operate light and heavy machinery, including dump trucks and utility vehicles.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of public work sites and storage yards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Class C Texas Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Physical ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Strong commitment to public service and adherence to safety protocols.
