Responsibilities
- Inspect public infrastructure, parks, and facilities to ensure compliance with safety codes and city ordinances.
- Respond to and resolve citizen inquiries, complaints, and service requests regarding municipal services in a timely manner.
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of public amenities, including signage, lighting, and landscaping.
- Collaborate with other city departments and external vendors to coordinate large-scale municipal projects.
- Prepare accurate reports and documentation regarding inspections and field operations.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for the public at all times.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required; Associate's degree in Public Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Valid California Class C Driver's License and a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in public service, customer service, or facilities management.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with diverse community members.
- Physical ability to perform field work, including walking, standing, and lifting moderate weights.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
