Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on city roads, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate and maintain light equipment (mowers, trimmers, snow plows)
- Respond to service requests and emergency repairs within city limits
- Conduct safety inspections of public infrastructure
- Assist in seasonal projects (tree trimming, park upkeep, storm prep)
- Document work activities and submit daily progress reports
- Collaborate with cross-departmental teams on municipal initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Missouri driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Basic mechanical aptitude and equipment maintenance skills
- Strong commitment to public safety and community service
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Willingness to obtain required certifications (training provided)
