Responsibilities
- Perform daily maintenance of city parks, trails, and recreational facilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely (mowers, tractors, trucks)
- Conduct routine inspections of public infrastructure
- Assist with emergency storm response and debris removal
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and city safety protocols
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Texas Class C Driver's License
- 1+ years experience in landscaping or maintenance
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in outdoor conditions
- Basic equipment operation skills
- Strong commitment to public service
