Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public parks, streets, and facilities
- Operate light machinery (sweepers, mowers, etc.) safely and efficiently
- Assist in storm debris removal and emergency response operations
- Conduct daily inspections of assigned areas to identify hazards
- Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize daily work assignments
- Ensure compliance with municipal safety and environmental standards
- Maintain accurate logs of equipment usage and maintenance
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Texas driver's license with clean record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Flexibility to work weekends and during emergencies
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Basic knowledge of hand/power tools
