Responsibilities
- Infrastructure Maintenance: Perform general maintenance and repair work on city streets, sidewalks, and public facilities.
- Public Works Support: Assist in waste management, recycling programs, and street sweeping operations.
- Vehicle Operation: Safely operate municipal vehicles and heavy equipment as required by the department.
- Community Interaction: Engage with the public professionally to address service requests and provide information.
- Compliance & Safety: Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and municipal policies.
Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- License: Valid Class C Arizona Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to perform manual labor, lift heavy objects, and work in various weather conditions.
- Experience: Prior experience in public works, landscaping, or general maintenance is preferred but not mandatory for immediate hires.
- Background: Must pass a post-offer background check and drug screening.
