Responsibilities
- Maintain public parks, sidewalks, and municipal facilities
- Operate heavy equipment safely (dump trucks, loaders, etc.)
- Perform landscaping, groundskeeping, and minor construction tasks
- Respond to weather-related emergencies (snow removal, storm cleanup)
- Conduct routine inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols and city regulations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on public projects
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Tennessee Class B Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- 2+ years experience in construction, maintenance, or landscaping
- OSHA 10-hour construction certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid Tennessee driver's license with clean record
