Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public parks, streets, and municipal facilities
- Operate heavy machinery including street sweepers, graders, and snow removal equipment
- Conduct safety inspections and report infrastructure hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on city improvement projects
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and municipal safety protocols
- Respond to emergency weather conditions affecting public infrastructure
- Assist with waste management and recycling programs
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License (Class B or higher preferred)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in public works or construction maintenance
- Certification in heavy equipment operation (CDL a plus)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong knowledge of municipal safety regulations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
