Responsibilities
- Perform general maintenance duties including street sweeping, litter removal, and park upkeep.
- Operate and maintain heavy machinery, including dump trucks, jackhammers, and paving equipment.
- Inspect and repair public infrastructure such as traffic signs, guardrails, and sidewalks.
- Assist in the collection and disposal of municipal waste and recyclables.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests and weather-related service interruptions.
- Ensure strict adherence to all safety regulations and environmental compliance standards.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Valid Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to perform outdoor labor in varying weather conditions.
- Basic knowledge of construction or maintenance tools and safety protocols.
