Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance of city parks, sidewalks, and public facilities
- Operate light machinery and equipment for landscaping/construction tasks
- Respond to service requests and emergency repairs within assigned zones
- Conduct daily inspections of infrastructure and report hazards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects
- Maintain accurate records of work activities and materials used
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California Class C driver's license
- Minimum 1 year experience in public works or landscaping
- OSHA 10 certification preferred (training provided)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme weather conditions
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
