Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance on public facilities, parks, and transportation infrastructure
- Respond to citizen service requests and resolve public inquiries within SLA
- Operate municipal equipment (e.g., trucks, machinery) safely and efficiently
- Conduct field inspections and document infrastructure conditions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community improvement projects
- Enforce municipal codes and safety regulations
- Participate in emergency response and disaster recovery operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications preferred
- Minimum 2 years municipal/government or public works experience
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills in English and Spanish highly desirable
- Proficiency with mobile data collection tools and Microsoft Office
