Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on public infrastructure including parks, sidewalks, and facilities
- Operate specialized equipment such as trucks, mowers, and hand tools safely and efficiently
- Respond to emergency situations including storm cleanup, debris removal, and public safety hazards
- Assist in traffic control and public event support during community gatherings
- Document work activities and maintain accurate records of materials used
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience in construction, landscaping, or public works
- Valid California Class C driver's license with clean driving record
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding tasks in various weather conditions
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse teams
- Basic knowledge of maintenance tools and equipment operation
- Must pass background check and drug screening
