Responsibilities
- Maintain and beautify public parks, streets, and municipal facilities
- Operate and maintain specialized equipment (e.g., trucks, mowers, hand tools)
- Respond to public inquiries and provide excellent customer service
- Perform routine inspections and report infrastructure issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on community projects
- Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations
- Support emergency response operations during critical events
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid California driver's license with clean record
- Minimum 2 years of public works or maintenance experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
- Spanish bilingualism highly desirable
