Responsibilities
- Monitor facility access points and conduct security sweeps during night hours to ensure facility safety.
- Review and verify compliance documentation submitted by staff and contractors.
- Report any discrepancies, maintenance issues, or safety hazards to the on-call supervisor immediately.
- Perform routine inspections of government equipment and storage areas to prevent theft and damage.
- Maintain accurate, digital logs of all compliance checks and incidents occurring during the shift.
- Assist in the orientation and training of new night shift personnel.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in government, security, or compliance roles is highly desirable.
- Must be able to work a rotating night shift schedule (e.g., 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
