Responsibilities
- Maintain security protocols and surveillance of correctional facilities during night hours
- Conduct inmate counts, searches, and safety inspections to ensure facility integrity
- Respond to emergencies, incidents, and medical situations with de-escalation techniques
- Document incidents, inmate behavior, and facility operations in digital systems
- Collaborate with day shift teams for seamless operational continuity
- Enforce institutional rules and regulations while maintaining professional conduct
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Valid Florida Driver's License
- U.S. citizenship and clean criminal background check
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
