Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility rules during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular security checks and headcounts to ensure compliance Respond to emergencies, incidents, and medical situations with calm professionalism
- Maintain accurate logs and incident reports using digital systems
- Screen visitors and packages according to department protocols
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during critical operations

Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Indiana driver's license
- Successful completion of background check and polygraph examination
- Basic first aid/CPR certification within 90 days of hire
- Ability to work rotating night shifts (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
- Strong observational skills and crisis management abilities
- Experience in security, law enforcement, or corrections preferred
- Ability to remain alert and make sound decisions during overnight hours
