Responsibilities
- Monitor inmate activities and enforce facility protocols during overnight shifts
- Conduct regular security checks and headcounts to maintain institutional safety
- Respond to emergencies and incidents with de-escalation techniques
- Document incident reports and maintain accurate log entries
- Screen visitors and packages following departmental procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift staff for seamless operations
- Participate in ongoing training programs for professional development
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid Arizona Driver's License
- Ability to pass background check and physical fitness assessment
- Basic computer literacy for report documentation
- Strong conflict resolution and communication skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight hours
- Previous security or military experience preferred
- CPR/First Aid certification within 90 days of hire
